Tatabánya is a former mining town with a rich history. Dózsatown is a lively district with mostly residential use. There is a strong community here, which grew out of its existing gathering places. Our task was to convert an empty space lodged between a preschool and a medical institute into a vibrant place serving the local community. The main goal was to create an event hall. The size of this place was dictated by he number of active participants of the area.

Our design concept was to create timeless interior spaces sprinkled with a bit of retro patterns and natural materials. The main color theme was wood and gree, since nature defines an important character of the nearby area.
